Election Certification
Supervisors of Elections must report unofficial results to the Division of Elections by noon on Friday, May 17. Once these results are received, the division will determine if machine recounts are necessary in any federal, state, multi-county or judicial races. If so, a recount order will be immediately issued.
Results of machine recounts are due to the Division no later than 3 p.m., Sunday, May 19. When the machine recount results are received, the division will determine if manual recounts are required. If so, manual recount orders will be immediately issued.
The results of all manual recounts must be included in the official results that are due to the division no later than noon, Tuesday, May 21.
